给编辑的一封信(英文)篇一
Dear editor,
I'd like to tell you something about the changes of my hometown. My hometown used to be a beautiful place. Thick trees and green grass could be seen everywhere. However, in order to build houses and grow more crops, people cut down more and more trees. As time went on, the wholeforest was almost destroyed.
学习啦在线学习网 Gradually, the green hills have changed into a wasteland. As a result, sandstorms struck us now and then, from which we suffered a lot. So, I do hope that all the people should realize the terrible result of not caring about our environment. What's more, we should take good care of the forests and plant more trees instead of cutting them down so as to improve our living conditions.
Yours,
Li Hua

Dear editors of English Weekly,
学习啦在线学习网 Now I want to tell you something about wild animals. There are a lot of wild animals living on the same earth with us.They are our friends and neighbors. However, some of them are dying out everyday because of the damages we humans have been doing to the environment. And the situation is still going worse and worse.
For one thing, someone killed the tigers and sold their skins to make money. They must be punished.I think we should all be responsible for that and realize that it is our everyone's duty to protect the wild animals. They have their right to live just as our human beings.
We should treat them with love and care, respect the law of nature and share the same land with them!Let try our best to make a happy home for human beings and animals.

给编辑的一封信(英文)篇三
学习啦在线学习网 Dear editor,
学习啦在线学习网 I am writing to inform you of my unhappy experience lately. On June 5th,I went to buy an XXX English Dictionary for Advanced Learners at the YYY Foreign Bookstore.Unfortunately, when I went home,I was astonished to find that several pages were stained, some were folded, and a few more were even missing.
To resolve the problem,I immediately went back to the bookstore and managed to find the same shop assistant, who said she could do nothing about it and asked me to go directly to the manager.I made great efforts to meet the manager in person, only to be told it was not their fault – the publisher was the real party to blame.
Up until now,I have been thinking of this happening.I believe that it is more than necessary for the whole tertiary industry to improve the service quality.Only when the service is performed properly and satisfactorily can the needs of the customers be satisfied and the national economy be put on the right track.
With best regards.
Yours faithfully,
Li Xiaoming
