英语不定冠词讲解：不用冠词的场合（二）

　　冠词是一种虚词，本身有一定的含义，主要放在名词前起限定作用(前置定语)，大约70%的名词前面必须用冠词，但在中文看来冠词大多数是多余的，因此要养成用冠词的习惯，一定要加强训练。

　　4.不用冠词的场合

　　少数名词前不使用冠词，主要是以下几种情况：

学习啦在线学习网 　　4.6家人、亲戚的称呼、头衔作称呼时，头衔和姓、姓名连用时不用冠词

学习啦在线学习网 　　Mother, Father, Brother, dinner’s ready.

　　妈妈，爸爸，哥哥，晚饭准备好了。

　　Uncle, will you come again?

　　Doctor, do I need injections?

　　医生，我需要打针吗?

　　President Obama is coming to visit China.

　　Secretary General Annan plays an important role.

　　Professor, I have one question.

　　教授，我有一个问题。

　　New Your University纽约大学

　　Houston University休斯顿大学

　　Zhongshan University中山大学

　　have breakfast/lunch/dinner吃早餐/中餐/晚餐

　　at noon/night/dawn在中午/夜晚/黎明

　　face to face面对面

　　step to step逐步地

　　on end连续地

　　day by day一天地

　　go to bed去睡觉

　　go to school去上学

　　go to hospital去看病

　　go to court上法庭

　　go to the school去学校

　　错误聚焦：

学习啦在线学习网 　　因为中文没有冠词，而英文中的大多数名词前必须用冠词，初学者在养成用冠词的习惯之前容易漏掉许多冠词

　　×Book on desk is borrowed from library.

　　√The book on the desk is borrowed from thelibrary.

　　你看见大楼顶上的大钟了吗?

学习啦在线学习网 　　√Do you see the big clock on the top of thebuilding?

　　树是有生命的。

　　×Tree has its life.

　　√A tree has its own life.
