英语学习：定冠词用于形容词最高级和序列

　　形容词最高级

　　形容词最高级前，必须加定冠词。

　　比如：

　　尼罗河是非洲最长的河。

　　Shanghai is one of the largest cities in the world.

学习啦在线学习网 　　Jack is the tallest of us three.

　　表示序列

　　序数词以及表示序列的形容词，如last,next等前必须加定冠词。

　　比如：

　　That day she was the first to climb to the top of the hill.

　　那天她第一个登上山顶。

　　He came second in the exam.

　　他们挖了一个洞，又挖了一个，再挖了一个……

　　他们都想学第二外语。
